Congratulations! The website is lovely and very well done as are most things you do. This will be a great outreach and I’ll pass it on to friends. The Bio family pic looks familiar…

  2. Mary Nelle Jones says:

Thank you for coming to Ohio. The weekend was like a breath of Spring for me and others. I know God used you; I pray He will continue to lead and direct you. Thank you for doing “what we don’t do in January in Ohio!” mnj

      Mary Nelle —
What a joy to be with the women in Ohio. It was my blessing to be there. What a joy all of you are to me!

    Laura,
Lydia told me about your dinner with her and she was very excited about your walk with God and your ministry. I really liked your site and hope sometime down the road we get the opportunity to catch up. I will be praying for you, your family and your ministry.
Maybe sometime when you are home for a visit we can have a small bible study.
    Love,
    Maarci

    Laura,

I would love to have you speak at our Spring Ladies Retreat for Ashley County Baptist Association. I am looking at the following dates: March 16-17 or April 13-14 and wondered if that would work for you. We use Beech Springs Camp, Smackover for our meeting place. We begin on Friday evening at 6 pm and dismiss by noon on Saturday. Do you have a set fee for your conferences? I look forward to hearing from you. Sandra Swaim, Ministry Assistant

  5. Sandra Swaim says:

March 16 & 17, 2012 has been confirmed by Beech Springs Camp for our Ladies Retreat. I am thinking the your topics of The Games Women Play would be a good one. Would it be possible for you to use Eve, Rebekah and Miriam for our retreat? Since this is a Spring Retreat I am thinking of the theme Bloom Where You are Planted. My verse for the weekend will be Philippians 4:13.

Let me know if you think this will work for you.

    Sandra Swaim

      Blessings on your week,

  8. Patricia Perkins says:

I just wanted to thank you for the devotionals in the June Mosaic magazine. I especially enjoyed the extra prayer suggestions – you mentioned things I sometimes forget to pray for as I pray our missionaries.

  9. Judy Thompson says:

Miss Laura, I would like to tell you how “Prayer Patterns” in Mosaic magazine touched my heart the month of June. From your picture, you look like a “bubbly ball of energy”. You drove home the scriptures more to me each day. I would just like to say thank you and may God bless you in your ministry.

  10. LauraMac says:

    Patricia & Judy ~

Thank you for the kind words of affirmation.

This was my first opportunity to write “Prayer Patterns” — a real privilege and such a joy. God was so faithful to prompt me and guide me through it. Knowing you have read these, prayed for our missionaries, and been encouraged personally, as well is both humbling and gratifying.

Thank you, thank you for taking time to bless me!

  11. Ernestine S. Bonicelli says:

I just wanted to tell you how much the Mosaic prayer guide for June blessed me. It was a unique approach and kept my interest throughout the month. God bless you and your ministry!!!

  12. Irma Woodrow says:

Laura, thanks for writing the Prayer Patterns in our Missions Mosaic for the month of February. I am especially enjoying the written prayer for the daily devotions. May God continue to bless your Ministry. Irma

    • LauraMac says:

      Irma–
Thank you for taking time to provide this kind and much-appreciated feedback. Writing Prayer Patterns has been such an honor and a great joy. Thank you for praying faithfully for those who serve and go to make HIM known!
      Blessings on your day,
      Laura

  13. Carolyn Lewis says:

Laura , I just want to commend you on your devotional thoughts you shared with us this month in Mission Mosaic magazine. Each one spoke to me personally as I have experienced some trials and challenges in my own life recently. I was especially touched by your prayers that you also published. My birthday prayers are often repetitious, whereas yours are always different and personal, yet so applicable to all of us. I thank our Lord for you and your ministry and look forward to seeing your devotionals again soon.

    • LauraMac says:

      Carolyn:
What a great joy for me to read your words of encouragement this morning! Our Lord is so good and faithful. I’m rejoicing that He not only gave me the words, thoughts, and direction to complete this assignment, but that He has used those writings to bless you, speak to you, and spur you on to pray specifically and faithfully for those who serve Him! Hallelujah! Encouragement is so important in the body of Christ (Hebrews 3:13) — thank you for allowing Him to use you to encourage me today!
      Blessings on your day,
      Laura

  14. Mary McCain says:

    Laura,
Thank you so much for writing the February Prayer Patterns in the Mosaic! This month has been so great to me in my daily devotions and in praying for our missionaries with birthdays. Your special prayer for the missionaries and for us as individuals has been so helpful to me. I have felt God speaking to me each day as we studied about Moses and his leading the children of Israel toward the “Promised Land”. On February 27 as you compared our “desert” and our “wilderness” that we are traveling each day on our way to our “Promised Land” my heart just overflowed with joy and anticipation!
Blessings to you as you bless us!
    Mary McCain

    • LauraMac says:

      Mary —
Your kind words have brought joy to my heart and tears to my eyes today. How I rejoice in knowing February’s Prayer Patterns have not only been a help to your prayer life, but have encouraged you in your journey of faith, as well. To Him be all the glory! I’m so grateful to you for taking time to find my website and share these very-much-appreciated words of encouragement! Bless you!
      In His love and mine,
      Laura

  15. Terri says:

Thank you for your thoughts for the February Mission Mosaic Prayer Pattern. They encouraged me to pray more specifically for the missionaries in ways that I had not thought of and also I will be using them to encourage and pray for my son who was recently deployed. THANK YOU!

  16. LauraMac says:

    Terri —
Thank you for these encouraging words! I LOVE the challenge and the JOY of writing Prayer Patterns!
Thank you for taking time to bless me with this feedback today!
    All for Jesus,

  20. Sharon Wildermuth says:

I too am inspired by the Prayer Patterns in our Missions Mosaic! The prayers at the end are truly meaningful. I read your bio. You certainly have to rely on God to get all that done! Do you have more grandchildren now? Being a grandma is almost a full time job!!! Thanks for your heart and love for God and missions.

    • LauraMac says:

Sharon — Thanks for making time to encourage me! Your comment about my bio made me laugh! (And you are not the first person to make a similar comment!) I think God gave me a capacity to “spin lots of plates” — my prayer is that I never do less (or more!) than He has for me! Thanks so much for reading along with us through Prayer Patterns this month and, of course, for praying for our missionaries!

  21. Charlotte Bickers says:

I have enjoyed this months writing’s in May issue of Mission Mosaic Mag. They were a Blessing. Thanks so much. Charlotte from southern IL.

  24. Becky McLawhorn says:

Your February devotionals in Missions Mosaic were excellent! I loved how you worked through Romans as the month progressed. May God continue to bless you in your writings and ministry!

    • LauraMac says:

Becky! Your kind words are such an encouragement to me! Thank you for making time to reach out with these words of blessing. Romans is rich! After studying (and teaching) through it this year, I’m convinced every believer should re-visit Romans every few years as a refresher in our faith! If you are interested in viewing my teaching through the book, the weekly lessons are free here on the Cross My Heart Ministry YouTube channel: http://www.YouTube.com/CrossMyHeartMinistry

  25. Dear Laura,
I am so thankful for your ministry through the Write The Word series. I have been using the bookmarks the past few years with small groups of women. Recently I am having trouble finding subjects from the archives. Do you still have the Book of Colossians as a Write the Word bookmark? Would you be so kind as to email the pdf to me or let me know if there is a way to access the older Write the Word bookmarks?

    • Cross My Heart Ministry says:

Rhonda! What an absolute JOY to read your message this evening. It’s such a blessing to know that the Write the Word bookmark is useful to you in your ministry. Thank you for investing in the lives of women – encouraging them to know the Word of God!

The ‘Write the Word’ bookmark was originally developed for the folks at A Reason For Homeschool (www.areasonforhomeschool.com), but when their blog stopped publishing new material, they kindly gave Cross My Heart permission to use it, as this was Laura’s “baby” and she had developed the idea over many years. We will be cycling those previous topics into the rotation here at Cross My Heart, along with many new ones. Though we haven’t yet put Colossians 3 into the rotation, you can access it here: https://bit.ly/2XvYduB

  26. Charlotte Wootton says:

Thank you for your devotions for March in the Missions MOSAIC MAGAZINE. I WAS BLESSED EVERY DAY IN A NEW WAY. The devotional on Apollos spoke

wisdom into my heart regarding a prayer I needed God to answer!
I wish I could relate the story of how this blessed and gave me wisdom from
God. God is using you in a mighty way that you will never know until you are in heaven.
    Thank you

    • LauraMac says:

Charlotte! Thank you for the sweet blessing these kind words bring to my heart! An absolute joy to know these devotionals blessed you and spurred you on to pray! Thank you, thank you for making time to reach out and encourage me today!
